Doylestown

A Very Communal Commotion
hi, im joe and im all about providing for the diy musician.
3 stores in my town have agreed to let all age donation based shows happen.
these stores are in less than a block of eachother,
but cannot host long events.
so i devised a plan to have one band play each store.
each band has an hour set time. and so the show moves from store to store.
(the cigar parlor, estetiks sneaker shop, and siren records)
the headliner plays at the local record shop "SIREN RECORDS"
im calling this concept "A VERY COMMUNAL COMMOTION"
i am doing this to provide a space for the traveling band.
and also bring the noise back a dying art scene.
these will be donation based shows.
and they will happen every last saturday of the month.
i can provide a place to sleep.
and food as well!
i am also a blog!

Elizabethtown

The Basement

Gettysburg

Harrisburg

The House of One Accord
Shows held monthly. Check the blogs. Various music styles and themes to the events. We will mostly be doing punk rock shows, but our definition of "punk" has a broad musical meaning. All shows are open to the public, all ages, etc. Sometimes featuring potluck, food and drinks or anything anyone wants to bring. But we have drinks and snacks for sale also.

Seer Productions
We live in an urban communal housing building operated under a local college and can host some shows there. (There are also a few house venues and coffee shops in the city should we not be able to help you out.) Right now we do not own our own PA system, though we may be able to borrow one when necessary. Sleeping arrangements can be made. Free laundry services. Probably free food. Hospitable and active residents. All donations support touring artists (and perhaps a portion for any local artists - no guarantees). We can book locals or campus-based artists, but if you have one or two local acts in mind already, that's even better. All genres may inquire, though we will favor quieter performers, especially those who need no PA system, but don't let that stop you from inquiring. Email LAXPWIL@yahoo.com with subject "GIG REQUEST FOR _______". Include your artist name, link to music, date of request, and any other relevant info, and we will see whether we can put something together.

Emit J. Es | oF TBA
I am not a venue but I can help set something up.. preferably something ridiculous where 'too many people' will show up.. bathrooms, (peaceful-musical)boycotts/sit-ins, woods, barns (to the more cliche) basements, living rooms, garages and I do, however have a few ephemeral places I book for, but these shows are usually left open to my immediate friends.. but there are acceptions to the everything? Don't be confused, you can make your precious monies to keep your motion but bring merch. just in case.. and play from the depths of your emptiness!
ConTact:
Emit AT TBA@RiseUp.Net (or) MySpace.Com/TheBadAcronym with the dates you are interested in and your idea of your elaborate performance.. please.. nothing boring! "The world has yawned itself to sleep with your kind."
