Fort Wayne

1624 N. Harrison St.
an ALL AGES D. I. Y. show space and home to the baddest muthas on the face of the Earth. We book bands we dig, we try to book bands the kids dig. We don't book bands with divisive, destructive cultural and social outlooks (i. e. bands advocating racist, sexist, homophobic hate speech, or religious zealotry). We're all about saying whatever the hell you want, but being open minded does not mean lacking a social compass and promoting ideas one finds morally repugnant. Ideally, 1624 is a place where everybody can have fun, hear rad music, thrash, and feel safe doing so. We're a block away from the skatepark and have a beautiful view of the romantic Ft. Wayne downtown skyline.
In order to make this a sustainable venue, 1624 is, and has always been, drug and alcohol free. From experience, nothing kills an all ages spot faster than 15 year olds with beer and nothing ruins a good show faster than 30 year olds with beer. For those who disagree, go rebel like yer mom and dad and get a minivan when you're over this whole punk rock phase. See you at the show.
PUNX NOT PROFITS. ALL THE MONEY GOES TO THE BANDS!!

Huntington

The 509
so...the venue is in the basement of an 100 year-old church building. there's a sweet coffee shop in the upstairs balcony, and the main level is still used for sunday services. we set up shows and run sound. we're not-for-profit, meaning that all shows can have a cover, but it must be labeled as "suggested donation" and that people can get in free if the choose to do so. bands have a lot of freedom here. basically we ask 509ers to respect the bands and we expect bands to do the same in return. we're down for any kind of music...from acoustic to experimental to metal...we believe that any music is good music as long as there's love in it.

New Haven

The fahrenheit house
one to two shows a month, unamplified, small yet attentive audiences, new-fashioned hospitality, photos from fahrenheit128.com. low-volume acts only, no loud percussion!
